Jen and Billy are gradeschool friends and grew up trained professionally by their photography mentor, Hank Yeatman. They both went on to further their studies in photography at Elon University and Appalachian State University.      

      Since 2000, Jen has been focusing on portrait photography. She has worked with private clients in the metropolitan triad of NC, Boston, MA, and settled in Washington, D.C.  Jen is in the studio daily and her creative knowledge of lighting techniques dramatically enhances ordinary bridal photographs into elegant portraits. Her work has been published in various newspapers throughout the district.

 

           Billy has published work in numerous publications throughout North Carolina and Virginia. He has provided photographic services to the Federal Government as well as local law  enforcement agencies in Virginia and North Carolina. He has won awards in modeling photography and has shown private exhibitions along the East Coast, as well as in Havana, Cuba.  Billy has been photographing weddings since 1999 and began full time in 2005.

  Jen and Billy reunited in the District and have combined their expertise of field, event, and studio photography within their company Willow Wedding Photography.   

     Jen and Billy use Canon digital SLR cameras along with Canon's high quality lenses. All digital images can be converted into black and white or sepia tone, along with many other digital enhancement options.
